The streamer has ordered Escaping Twin Flames, a three-part series about the Twin Flames dating platform. The service promised to find people’s true love, or Twin Flame, but what sounded like love might have been more of a dangerous obsession rooted in a cultish mindset.

The series, which launches November 8, comes from Cecilia Peck, who directed Starz’s Seduced: Inside the NXIVM Cult, and Good Caper Content, the ITV America production company behind TLC’s Taken At Birth.

It will explore the story of Jeff and Shaleia Divine, the leaders of Twin Flames Universe, who sell online classes that guarantee harmonious union with your destined partner and will pull back the veil of the universe, a controversial online community that preys on people looking for love.

The docuseries will feature exclusive access to former members and include horrifying stories of coercion and exploitation, from encouraging stalking behavior to manipulating gender identities. It also will document the active efforts of family members to rescue their loved ones from Jeff and Shaleia’s web.

The twin flame obsession has been growing on social media during the past few years, with one theory being that there are 144,000 humans capable of finding their true twin flame. It has been given credence by the likes of Megan Fox and Alicia Keys and has exploded across YouTube and TikTok.

Peck exec produces alongside Inbal B. Lessner, Daniel Voll, Alexandra Milchan, Jordana Hochman and Alison Dammann.

“We were flooded with messages from people who left high-control groups after releasing our series about the NXIVM cult and the stories of the survivors and families impacted by Twin Flames Universe emerged as the most urgent to expose,” said Peck and Lessner said. “Escaping Twin Flames is the result of a three-year investigation into the sophisticated recruitment and indoctrination techniques employed by the leaders of this online group. We are grateful to those who courageously entrusted us with their first-hand accounts and evidence. We made this series for them and for everyone who has been manipulated or coerced without knowing it.”

It is the latest docuseries on the subject; Amazon is launching Desperately Seeking Soulmate: Escaping Twin Flames Universe, directed by Marina Zenovich, on October 6.
